Fedor Andreev, The Model

If you were to ask Andreev about his modeling career, he would respond by saying it started as a total fluke.

After talent scout Kelly Yee saw Andreev figure skating on TV, she knew that she had to reach out and get in contact with him.

Andreev’s first modeling job was with Abercrombie & Fitch in 2000, which was shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber. Afterward, Andreev moved to New York then to New Jersey where he was then signed on by IMG Men’s division. During his time with IMG, Andreev was involved in editorial and fashion shoots, including Hermes catalogue, Vogue USA, DKNY etc.

Upon returning to Detroit, Andreev’s modeling career was put on hold to focus back on skating. Andreev resurrected his modeling career in 2006 when he moved back to NYC and signed with Vision NYC.

Andreev had this to say about his about his experiences modeling:

“I was given the opportunity to travel to Thailand and Hong Kong to pursue further modeling and acting jobs. I stayed in Hong Kong for almost an entire year and it was probably one of the most rewarding, incredible experiences of my life.”
